A multilingual Mawlid gathering for the GTA

The program is expected to include nasheeds and Mawlid recitations in Arabic, English and Urdu, together with reflections from scholars on the life and character of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. Organizers describe the gathering as a welcoming event for individuals, families and attendees of all ages, with an atmosphere of dhikr, praise, community and spiritual learning.

Sidi Muhammad Salman announced for 2026

In its latest performer announcement, Know Your Prophet Centre confirmed the return of Sidi Muhammad Salman to the festival. The announcement adds to the developing lineup of scholars, munshids and reciters expected to participate in this year’s program.

The annual celebration follows a strong turnout at the previous festival. Organizers say approximately 400 people attended last year and are preparing to welcome an even larger community gathering in 2026.
