The Iqbal Foods Oakville opening date is officially set for Thursday, October 15, 2026. The Iqbal Foods new location in Oakville will open at 125 Cross Ave, Unit C2, Oakville, ON L6J 2W8, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony scheduled for 10:00 a.m.
Iqbal Foods says the Oakville grand opening will include special offers, grand-opening deals and activities. A dedicated opening flyer with more promotions is also expected ahead of launch day.
When the Oakville expansion was first announced in September, Iqbal Foods said the store would carry HMA-certified halal Ontario fresh meat along with fresh produce, seafood, bakery items, dairy products, frozen foods and everyday grocery and kitchen staples.
The new location is also expected to carry home essentials, kitchenware, accessories, children’s toys, and outdoor and barbecue supplies, continuing Iqbal Foods’ full-service grocery format.
Iqbal Foods is also expanding west of the GTA with a new location in Milton at 1195 Maple Ave. The store is planned for the former Best Buy space.
An official Iqbal Foods Milton opening date has not yet been announced. The company has confirmed the location, but shoppers are still waiting for a firm launch date. The Halal Food will update this story when an opening date is released.
