Arts of the Middle East Festival Returns to Mississauga September 25–26

The 3rd Annual Arts of the Middle East Festival is returning to Mississauga Celebration Square on September 25 and 26, 2026, bringing two days of live performances, cultural experiences, family activities, shopping and Middle Eastern food to the heart of Mississauga.

The festival is designed as a broad celebration of Middle Eastern culture and community. Organizers describe the 2026 edition as an opportunity for visitors to experience music, arts, traditions and flavours from across the region in one large public gathering.

Middle Eastern food joins the festival experience

For THF readers, one of the main attractions will be the festival's dedicated food area. The City of Mississauga says visitors can expect a selection of Middle Eastern dishes and sweet treats alongside the performances and cultural programming.

Visitors who specifically require halal food should still confirm halal status with each individual vendor before ordering, as participation in a Middle Eastern cultural festival does not by itself establish halal verification.
