Qishr Coffee House
Qishr Coffee House brings Yemen’s centuries-old coffee traditions to the heart of downtown Toronto. Located beside Sankofa Square near Yonge and Dundas, the spacious, light-filled café offers a modern introduction to one of the world’s oldest coffee cultures.
The menu centres on authentic spiced qishr, brewed from coffee-cherry husks with ginger and cinnamon. Guests can also discover creamy Adeni tea, Yemeni and Arabic coffee preparations, iced Yemeni lattes, Spanish lattes, espresso drinks, pastries and freshly baked sweets. The café sources coffee through Yemeni farming families and roasts each batch to highlight its distinctive character.
With comfortable seating and a welcoming atmosphere, Qishr is suited to coffee dates, studying or relaxing while exploring downtown Toronto.
