Istanbul Doner House Is Coming Soon to Ridgeway Plaza in Mississauga

Istanbul Doner House is preparing to open a new location at Ridgeway Plaza in Mississauga, replacing the permanently closed AzBerry fruit slush and juice shop in Unit 6.

The restaurant announced the “coming soon” location on September 9, 2026, promising bold Turkish flavours, döner and sizzling grill favourites. The announcement lists the address as 3450 Platinum Drive, Unit 6, Mississauga, Ontario.

Replacing the Former AzBerry Location

The unit was previously occupied by AzBerry, a fruit slush, juice and fruit salad business that is now permanently closed. The former storefront is being prepared for Istanbul Doner House and will bring a new dine-in Turkish restaurant to this section of Ridgeway Plaza.

The restaurant is expected to accommodate approximately 15 tables and a maximum of about 50 guests. That would make it a relatively compact dining room compared with larger banquet-style restaurants, while still offering space for families and small groups to dine inside. Final seating capacity may change before opening.

Istanbul Doner House Is Expanding Quickly

Istanbul Doner House has expanded rapidly across Ontario. The company currently has five restaurants open and two more announced as coming soon, bringing its expected Canadian total to seven locations.

• Kingston: Coming soon.
• Ridgeway Plaza, Mississauga: Coming soon at 3450 Platinum Drive, Unit 6.

The Ridgeway Plaza opening will give Istanbul Doner House two restaurants in Mississauga and reflects the strong demand that has followed its busy original Britannia Road location. It will also place the growing brand inside one of the GTA’s most active halal dining destinations. Ridgeway Plaza is widely recognized for its large concentration of Middle Eastern, South Asian, Turkish and international food businesses.

Opening Date and Menu Still to Come

A complete menu, confirmed opening date and operating hours have not yet been released for the Ridgeway Plaza location. The announcement highlights Turkish-style döner, grilled chicken, skewers and other charcoal-grill favourites, with more information expected closer to opening.
