We came here in the evening and it was really busy but were still seated in the covered, heated outdoor area. The people working here were all super friendly and helpful with explaining things to us. Absolutely excellent service! Before our meal came, they brought us bowls of complimentary lentil soup which we appreciated on the cold day. We ordered the stuffed whole chicken combo which the menu says comes with 6 appetizers but they told us to pick 8 (6 cold, 2 hot). This allowed to try almost every appetizer, and pretty much all of them were great. As someone who hates eggplants, I even loved the eggplant salad. The chicken itself was absolutely delicious - the spices were perfect and the rice was good too. Of course everything is halal and the prices can’t be beat, especially for the quantity and quality of food you get.

Can't rave about the food enough! Tara was great in getting all what we needed to make our experience even better. Awesome flavours. The bread, hummus, platter meat was simply delicious. Will definitely go back! Complimentary soup and flatbread were a nice surprise. They are always packed so go early so your waiting time is less. Decor is done well too! Keep up the good food and service !

We visited Al Forat yesterday for lunch. The dining space was small and the restaurant was really busy, however, staff were really friendly and helpful. The complimentary lentil soup was delicious. Everything was cooked well and tasted amazing. Fatima provided the best service. Would highly recommend to everyone.

Don’t hesitate to give this hidden gem a try, the food is amazing and the portion sizes are huge ( Go there hungry ). Our server Qays, was very friendly and took care of us well. We ordered lamb quzi and chicken tikka wrap and we were served complimentary lentil soup and freshly baked warm bread while we were waiting for our food to arrive. Everything was delicious and fresh. 10/10 recommend 🫶🏼

Did not have a good experience. The food was not good, chicken tikka was too salty, lamb was not flavourful, chicken shawarma was dry and bland. All in all, there are many better Iraqi places near by with better tasting food and quicker service.nnI was excited to this spot out, but the experience was sadly disappointing.
