I always heard good things from Nuba and I finally tried today. You can reserve a table online. It was surprisingly not busy at lunch today but I anticipated it will be busy in the evening given its New Year’s Eve.nnFalafels plate and Najib’s special are really good. Plates come with a side salad, brown rice or potatoes and pita or romaine. One of the best falafels I ever had. It’s moist and very flavourful. The roasted cauliflower is crispy and juicy! I find it filling but it may not be enough for people with bigger appetite. Staff is super welcoming and friendly. They have a lot of vegan, vegetarian and gluten free option. Highly recommended.nnIf I have to be picky, I would like to have a spicier sauce. It’s not super expensive but it is on a higher end as it costs almost $20 each. But I will come here again!

Ordered the chicken shish tawook plate, muhammara, and hibiscus tea. Both the appetizer and the dish tasted excellent, but the portions were small considering the price. The tea was more bitter than I expected, and also small for the price.

Very filling, ok prices and pretty good food. The food arrived pretty quick too. I like we didn’t have to wait in line or anything like that and the service was super attentive. I’ll say it’s good for big groups too.

I came here for lunch on the weekend, we didn't make reservations but there was no wait and then it got pretty busy after we sat down.nWe still had great service with amazing food. I enjoyed their brunch offerings very much.nThere were stairs that led down to the restaurant, I'm not sure if there was an accessible entrance.

Always love going to Nuba at this location in Gastown. Food came out fast and was delicious, service was attentive and polite and I’d come back again!
