Get ready, Mississauga! The Mississauga Halal Food Festival (MHFF) is back for its 12th year, and it’s bigger, bolder, and more flavorful than ever before. Happening on June 13–14, 2025, at the heart of the city—Mississauga Celebration Square—this two-day celebration promises an unforgettable experience filled with halal cuisine, live music, family fun, and vibrant cultural energy. That’s after Eid ul-Adha in about 7 days.
Whether you’re a devoted foodie or simply looking to explore something new, the MHFF is your passport to the world’s most vibrant halal flavors. This annual celebration brings together an incredible lineup of vendors representing a wide range of global cuisines—Pakistani, Turkish, Afghan, Middle Eastern, African, Indo-Caribbean, and more. From juicy grilled meats, aromatic biryanis, and gourmet smash burgers to crispy samosas, shawarma wraps, and sweet treats like baklava and jalebi, there’s something to excite every palate.
Many vendors are beloved local halal hotspots like Mulham Cuisine, which is less than 7 minutes by car or 24 minutes walking.
Others are up-and-coming culinary stars debuting fresh takes on traditional dishes crafted especially for the festival crowd. It’s not just about the food—it’s a full sensory experience, complete with live performances, family-friendly activities, cultural showcases, and a welcoming community vibe that reflects Canada’s rich halal heritage. Whether you’re fasting, feasting, or just curious, MHFF is the perfect way to discover trusted halal options and connect with diverse food cultures in one unforgettable weekend.
